Job Description
Prepare community design plans
Conduct community outreach
Analyse projects and make recommendations.
Facilitate community group meetings.
Prepare conceptual, schematic, and preliminary urban designs.
Prepare construction plans and specifications for landscape improvement projects.
Facilitate interdepartmental cooperation, serve as a team member, and maintain open communication between various groups.
Plan and organize public improvement projects, and other redevelopment projects and programs.
Analyse complex administrative problems and arrive at solutions.
Analyse projects and make recommendations.
Provide overall management and design
Supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of building codes, regulations and design principles
Excellent drawing, drafting and design skills
Ability to collaborate with other design professionals
Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills
- Experience in architecture, engineering, or related field
Experience in project management is a plus

Architect
An architect designs buildings, structures, and other physical environments such as classrooms, offices and other places of business. You must consider the size, shape, materials, and purpose of a building or structure and then create plans that meet the requirements of their clients. Architects in Extramus must also be knowledgeable about local building codes, zoning regulations, and other government regulations that apply to the project. You must also be able to work with other interns and professionals to ensure that a project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the requirements of the client.
