Job Description

  • Assist in conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Support the development of product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Help create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and product briefs.
  • Participate in the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
  • Assist in the coordination of product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements and iterations.
  • Track and report on product performance metrics and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret market and customer data.
    • Familiarity with product management principles and methodologies.
    • Experience or coursework in business, marketing, product management, or a related field.
    • Ability to create clear and concise product documentation.
    • Understanding of the product development lifecycle.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Passion for product development and delivering user-centric solutions.
    • Would be a plus:

      • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
      • Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.

Skills and Experience Gained By The End Of The Internship

    • Hands-on experience in product management and the development of product strategies.
    • Exposure to the full product lifecycle, from conception to launch, and post-launch analysis.
    • Advanced skills in conducting market research and analyzing customer needs.
    • Enhanced ability to create and maintain comprehensive product documentation.
    • Understanding of coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver product milestones.
    • Experience using industry-standard project management tools and software.
    • Improved communication and teamwork skills in a professional product management setting.
